Hello everyone!

 

I can't believe we are here, Northampton, Ma. This is seminar number nine at Giles' sensei's home ground, Miles and miles behind us and with one more seminar ahead of us.

 

Here in Massachusetts it seems like a "home coming" event. So many old students are here from the "old days" at UMASS. It is wonderful for the spirit to see all these great people from the past, most of which are still training and very active in Kodokan. One student, Mike Phipps, will follow us to four seminars. Others have followed us to a couple like Ole Craig from Boulder, Co. It is a pleasure to see you so many times along the path.

 

Of course, this is Mr Liu's seminar, but Kodokan has so much to catch up on and celebrate so we will have a lot of time to spend together.

 

Mr Liu's seminar is as smooth as all the rest. His english is right on and people are appreciating his teaching so much. The connection to Goju Ryu is so clear and he makes our katas jump out at us at each bunkai.. He is great and a fine teacher.

 

I am sending a lot more pictures this time so you will see old students. If you haven't been to any seminar yet, I'm sure you will recognize someone.
